Evernex expands UK IT infrastructure capabilities with acquisition of Empowered and OrderWork

Bedfordshire, UK – June 26, 2026 – 3i Group plc (“3i”) announces that Evernex, a global leader in data centre maintenance (“DCM”) services, has acquired Empowered and OrderWork, two sister companies based in the UK and providing large-scale IT infrastructure deployment services.

The group is a leading UK IT channel services provider, enabling IT partners including systems integrators and Telco/MSPs to deliver complex projects, professional services, and managed support services, such as data centre migrations, network modernisation, Wi-Fi and LAN refreshes or SD-WAN rollouts. The business also operates the OrderWork platform, a proprietary field service management platform which orchestrates delivery of Professional services projects.

The acquisition is the tenth since 3i’s investment in Evernex in October 2019. It strengthens Evernex’s position across the IT infrastructure lifecycle, adding upstream deployment capabilities across new infrastructure rollouts to Evernex’s expertise in DCM) and end-of-life services. The transaction also enhances Evernex’s scale and presence in the UK market.
