This strategic acquisition strengthens Evernex’s operational footprint in Morocco, which already hosts one of the Group’s three Global Shared Service Centres (SSCs), alongside Brazil and Malaysia.
Paris, France – 11 December 2025 – Evernex, a global leader in data centre maintenance services (DCM), announces the acquisition of Sunrise Technologies in Morocco. Supported by 3i Group plc (“3i”), this transaction enables Evernex to integrate a key domestic player renowned for its high-level technical expertise, particularly in complex IBM-based storage systems and virtualisation technologies such as VMware.
This acquisition further consolidates Evernex’s operational presence in Morocco, home to one of its three Global Shared Service Centres (SSCs). Established in 2022, the Moroccan SSC plays a pivotal role in expanding Evernex’s global service delivery platform. The integration of Sunrise Technologies will immediately reinforce Evernex’s local service desk and engineering capabilities, broaden its technological coverage, and strengthen the Group’s ability to provide an even higher level of maintenance service.
The transaction marks Evernex’s eighth acquisition since 3i’s investment in October 2019, reaffirming the company’s sustained external growth strategy. Sunrise’s deep expertise in critical and complex infrastructure environments significantly enhances Evernex’s core offering, which is fundamentally built on reliability, sustainability, and operational excellence in IT lifecycle services.
“We are delighted to welcome Sunrise Technologies to Evernex. Morocco is a key market for us, both as a strategic operational platform and a growing market for data centre maintenance. Sunrise’s technical expertise, local footprint and strong customer relationships will enable us to deliver even greater value to clients across the EMEA region,” said Stanislas Pilot, CEO of Evernex.
“This integration reflects our ambition to consolidate our leadership position in North Africa. Sunrise Technologies’ advanced expertise in critical infrastructures immediately strengthens our ability to deliver reliable and sustainable solutions. It is a key step in supporting the continued growth of our operations and the high level of service we provide in this strategic market,” added Mohamed Bella, Deputy CEO, and Mounsef Ben-Haddouche, Global Sales Excellence and Managing Director Africa at Evernex.
“This acquisition strengthens Evernex’s leadership in North Africa and is fully aligned with our strategy to build a global, integrated platform for data centre maintenance. Sunrise’s reputation for excellence and deep technical know-how will reinforce Evernex’s delivery capabilities and support its continued growth in a key region for the company,” commented Marc Ohayon, Partner and Co-Head of France Private Equity at 3i.
