Evernex officially establishes its new subsidiary in the Kingdom Saudi Arabia

Evernex Saudi Arabia (SA), part of the global, independent IT Life Services company Evernex, today announced a new subsidiary in Riyadh. The move reinforces the company’s investment in and commitment to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and its technological development.

With this launch, Evernex will establish a local presence to support businesses in the
region. The new location will complement the company’s existing partner-driven operations in Jeddah and Khobar, which play key roles in the company’s supply chain business in the Kingdom.

Evernex Saudi Arabia is a third-party maintenance provider that offers replacement or repair of enterprise and data center hardware, equipment maintenance and professional services – independent of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) – to its growing customer base.

Today, it has three forward stocking locations, or spare parts warehouses, in Dammam, Riyadh and Jeddah, staffed by a dedicated team of multi-vendor technology experts.

The team already supports over 20,000 assets through more than 100 contracts with customers who are predominantly IT Resellers, End-users, and Services Providers in both the governmental and private sectors.

“We’re delighted to be growing our presence in this vibrant and developing market and to be supporting the 2030 Saudi Vision”, says Mohamed Bella, Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa. “The opening of our subsidiary in Saudi Arabia represents a major step forward for the IT services industry and for the sustainable development, growth, and innovation that we can facilitate for companies in the Gulf market.” Evernex SA will impact the Kingdom’s economy by delivering on programmes that will impact local employment, women in the workforce, upskilling and training, government effectiveness, and e-government initiatives.

The service that Evernex provides – extending the life cycle of IT assets by multi-vendor Third-Party Maintenance (TPM) in data center, delaying CapEx and reducing OpEx – is in demand from Saudi Arabian businesses looking for cost-effective hardware support and services. These businesses are looking for trained, technology-agnostic experts across many hardware types and brands who can offer flexible, comprehensive IT support solutions at significantly lower costs from one source.

The move supports the Saudi Arabian government’s ‘Vision 2030’ – a strategic framework to reduce Saudi Arabia’s dependence on oil, diversify its economy, and develop public service sectors such as health, technology, education, infrastructure, recreation, and tourism.

By opening the Riyadh subsidiary, Evernex Saudi Arabia will help companies in the region evolve and grow, while also contributing to more environmentally sustainable IT practices.

As a WEEE-compliance certified recycling leader, Evernex works with its customers to extend the life of IT hardware and give it a ‘second life’ beyond its primary use. This includes enabling the re-use, disposal, and reprocessing of products and materials so Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) becomes an integral part of their IT system.
